This policy explains what The Net Architect collects when you use thenetarchitect.com, why, and what we do with it. If anything here isn't clear, email hello@thenetarchitect.com and ask.
What we collect
Information you give us
- What you tell the chat.When you use the planning conversation on this site, we store the messages you send and our replies, along with what the conversation establishes about your business — industry, what you're looking for, and timing.
- Contact details. Your name and email address, when you give them to us so we can send your plan.
- Payment information. If you purchase a plan or audit, payment is handled by our payment processor. We receive a confirmation that payment succeeded and a reference for it. We never see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically
- Referral source. If you arrive via a referral link, we record which link it was, so we know which relationships are producing.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting provider logs standard request information such as IP address and browser type as part of serving the site securely.
Why we collect it
- To write and deliver the plan or audit you asked for.
- To respond to you and follow up about work you enquired about.
- To process payment for a plan or audit.
- To understand which referral relationships bring in work.
- To keep the site secure and working.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's advertising. We use a small number of service providers to run this business, and your information reaches them only to the extent they need it:
- Our hosting and database providers, which store the site and its data.
- Our AI provider, which processes the conversation text in order to generate responses and draft your plan.
- Our email provider, which delivers messages we send you.
- Our payment processor, which handles card payments.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it's necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep conversations, plans, and contact details for as long as we may reasonably need them for the work and our records. If you'd like your information deleted, email us and we'll remove what we're not required to keep.
Your choices
- You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct or delete it.
- You can unsubscribe from follow-up emails at any time — reply and say so, and the sequence stops.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. We'll honour those requests — email us.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
We use reputable providers and standard protections, including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so we don't claim otherwise — but we take it seriously and we keep the amount of information we hold small on purpose.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
